Wastewater Treatment / Sanitary System Operator – $23.75 to $31.59/hr                             

Due to an upcoming retirement, the Water/Wastewater Department is seeking applicants for the Wastewater Treatment/Sanitary System Operation position. The City of Seward will be constructing a new $50+ million wastewater treatment facility with the expectation of completion by the end of 2028. This employee will be instrumental in operating the new facility and systems. Performs a variety of semi-skilled and skilled work in the daily care and maintenance of the City’s wastewater pre-treatment and treatment system, including its facilities, grounds, and equipment. Physical requirements. Valid driver’s license required.
