Memorial Health Care Systems is proud to be recognized as a Top 20 Critical Access Hospital for 2026, and we are currently seeking a Respiratory Therapist.

This is a full-time, onsite position, working Monday through Friday with rotating holidays and on-call.
Position Summary The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for providing cardiopulmonary care services in the hospital setting in accordance with physicians’ orders and departmental policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
• Assessing patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders
• Administering oxygen therapy and breathing treatments
• Managing ventilators and life-support equipment
• Performing diagnostic tests such as pulmonary function testing
• Assist with pulmonary rehabilitation
• Sleep scheduling, maintain records and home equipment set up management
• Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatments as needed
• Assisting in emergency care situations involving breathing difficulties
• Educating patients on managing chronic respiratory conditions
• Knowledge of adult, pediatric and neonatal pulmonary care
• Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals

Qualifications: Education/Experience:

  • Associate's degree in applied science or equivalent
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved school of respiratory therapy.
  • Current State Respiratory License
  • Maintain ACLS, NRP certifications Benefits
